Yarn: (3) 100 g [3.5 oz] skeins Alpaca Fino, of these: 2 skeins solid-colored, 1 skein multi-colored, yardage 200 m [219 yds] per skein. Yarn for shawl in photo hand dyed by Sonja’s Wollanstalt
Needle size 4 – 4.5 mm [US6 – 7] recommended,
sample in photo knit on 4.5 mm [US7] needles

Abbreviations:
BO – bind off
k – knit
k2tog – knit 2 stitches together (1 decreased)
kfb – knit the same stitch twice, once through the front and once through the back leg
p – purl
skp – slip 1, knit 1, and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted one
slip1-k2-psso – slip 1, k2, and pass the slipped stitch over the two knitted sts. Do not knit them together.
st st – stockinette stitch
