Watermelon doily and coasters crochet pattern 076

Product description

Watermelon doily and coasters. Easy crochet tutorial pattern instant download -- Olga Andrew Designs Pattern 076.

This is a step-by-step tutorial pattern for a hand crocheted Watermelon doily and coasters, which can be used as a coaster, place mat, hot bowl (plate) holder or table decoration. Excellent gift for any occasion.

The pattern can be made up with any yarn. The instructions have been tested on several types of yarn and thread. If you use a different yarn brand or type, use an average hook size between the smallest and largest on the yarn label. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

The pattern includes detailed photos with instructions how to make it -- useful for beginners. This pattern uses only basic stitches, so beginners should have no problem with it. It is written in English using Standard US crochet terminology (with UK crochet terminology if necessary).

Skill level: easy (you only need basic crochet skills).

Materials you will need:
1) crochet yarn (I used Premium Acrylic DK yarn): for small size watermelon 19 g total, for large size watermelon 67 g total. Colours used: red, white, dark green, black. 2) crochet hooks (I used hook size 7 mm); 3) tapestry needle.

The approximate diameter of the crocheted watermelons is: small about 15 cm (about 5.9 inch), large about 28.5 cm (about 11.2 inch). The size of the watermelon may vary depending on the type of yarn, hook size and how tightly you crochet.

Kind regards, Olga Andrew Designs ©

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
I'm making 8 of these seat cushions as a wedding gift for a sunflower lover. Easy to understand and sizing is easily adaptable without extreme knowledge or experience.

simple but beautiful.
I have been looking for years for a simple circular baby blanket/shawl pattern and this one fits the bill nicely. Easy to make it comes up really pretty especially if you use a varigated mix yarn. I used a blue/white/pink mix which turned out nicely and was suitable for boy or girl (mum didn't want to know the sex beforehand) and I embellished it with pink white and blue flowers. One pattern I think may be used quite often
