Skill level: easy to intermediate. Basic crochet skills are required.

You should be familiar with:
magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, half double crochet, double crochet, working in the back loop only, increases, decreases and color changes.

Using the suggested materials, Ferdinand will be approximately 19 cm (7.5 in) tall, or about 10 cm (4 in) when sitting.

As with most amigurumi, the finished size may vary slightly depending on your yarn, hook size and individual crochet tension.

• any type of yarn in yellow - (115 yds/0.90 oz or 105m/50g)
• Crochet hook size 3.5 mm
• Embroidery yarn in red, brown, dark green
• 1 pair of safety eyes (8-9 mm)
• Filling material (e.g. polyester fiberfill)
