Of course, you can also design your own pixel blankets, count the number of squares in each color, and calculate how much yarn you’ll need.
I crocheted a square and then weighed it to calculate the amount of yarn used for each color.
One square weighed about 0,07oz / 2g for me, so one 1,75oz / 50g skein yields about 25 squares.
For the many light blue squares, we'll just use Value Yarn to save money.
