Alex – Crochet Shawl Pattern | PDF
Alex is a shawl filled with colour, delicate details, and floral accents. A varied combination of calmer sections and playful flower motifs allows the shawl to grow beautifully row by row while showcasing gradient yarns at their very best.
But this design carries a very special name.
Alex was a cherished member of our crochet group for many years and a dedicated tester of my patterns. A little piece of her became part of so many of my designs along the way. Sadly, she left us far too soon, leaving a space in our community that words alone cannot fill.
I know Alex would have loved the warm, vibrant colours of this shawl. And so, it carries her name – in memory of the stitches we shared, the many patterns she tested, and above all, of a wonderful person who was part of our community.
For Alex.
The Design
The shawl is worked from the top centre and grows into a generous triangular shape. Floral lace sections alternate with denser stitch patterns, creating an interesting and enjoyable crochet project.
The main pattern can be repeated, allowing you to adjust the size according to the amount of yarn available. Approximately 12% of your yarn should be reserved for the final border.
You Will Receive a detailed digital PDF crochet pattern for making the Alex shawl.
This listing is for a digital crochet pattern (PDF), not a finished crochet item.
A special shawl whose pattern and colours tell a story that goes beyond the stitches.
Alex – in loving memory.
