A find you won’t want to put down
Some things aren’t just stumbled upon... “Tide & Treasure” is my very first piece of clothing. After scarves, hats, and socks, I’m using this pattern to try my hand for the first time at a real garment that you actually wear.
The slipover is knitted from top to bottom in an elegant saddle-shoulder construction, with an airy lace pattern across the chest that evokes the sparkle of water in the summer light. The front and back remain open at the sides and are loosely tied together with delicate ribbons. Airy, summery, and just right for balmy evenings on the beach or cozy afternoons on the patio.
Why “Tide & Treasure”?
The tides hold stories of distant journeys, hidden coves, and long-forgotten treasures. A hint of adventure, carried by the wind and the vastness of the sea. That’s exactly the feeling I wanted to capture in a project that you can drape over your shoulders—one that evokes summer and mysterious beaches.
You should know how to do the following:
The knitting pattern is 11 pages long and includes:
Difficulty level: 3 out of 5
1/2/3/4
In the instructions, you’ll find many ways to tailor your project to your exact size.
You can find exact size specifications in my free size chart.
