Prefer a traditional skirt and bodice over a full Dirndl? This skirt pairs beautifully with a traditional bodice, a blouse, or—for a casual look—simply a T-shirt. The bodice harmonizes perfectly with the skirt or with a pair of Lederhosen.
The pattern set also includes the "Susal" Dirndl blouse, which pairs wonderfully with the "Susal" bodice or with a classic Dirndl dress. The blouse can be made either with central ruching or without.
Our pleated skirt—featuring a center box pleat—boasts a wide contoured waistband and an elegant hem facing. To allow for easy size adjustments if needed, a concealed zipper is integrated into the back seam. Additionally, you have the option to add a decorative button placket. The skirt length falls just above the knee; if you prefer to cover your knees, you can simply lengthen the skirt slightly.
The bodice, too, can be easily adjusted at the side seams. You also have the option to add piping trim. A small peplum stylishly rounds off the design.
