When opened flat, the bag measures approximately 25 x 41 cm.
Materials List
As the main material for the diaper bag, you will need approximately 30 cm of fabric for the exterior—for example, corduroy, canvas, linen, coated cotton, or waffle piqué.
For the interior, you can use approximately 65 cm of fabric—for example, cotton, coated cotton, or oilcloth. If you choose to use two different interior fabrics (as I did in this tutorial), you will need 35 cm of each.
For the changing mat, you should use a wipeable fabric—such as oilcloth or coated cotton—measuring approximately 35 cm in length.
Fusible interfacing (e.g., H200 or H250, depending on the thickness of your chosen fabric), measuring approximately 35 cm in length.
5 mm thick foam batting, measuring 27 x 43 cm (depending on the fabric thickness, a lofty batting/fleece may be used instead).
Lofty batting/fleece (e.g., H640), measuring 34.5 x 50 cm.
4 plastic snap fasteners.
Optional: Elastic band, 2 cm wide and 34 cm long.
Optional: 2.9 meters of bias binding.
