With this knitting instruction, I'll show you step by step how to knit these arm warmers. This instruction includes a very detailed written explanation as well as a chart for the cable pattern.
You can knit them close-fitting, as shown in the photos, or a little looser so you can pull them over your boots. The instructions will explain how to do this.
You should have the following skills: casting on and binding off, knit and purl stitches, using a cable needle, and knitting twisted stitches.
I used the following materials:
Much less than half a ball of 4-ply sock yarn (here: Flotte Socke Kolibri, color number 6207; available on my page - link is included).
The easiest way to knit these is with the CrazyTrio needle size 3.0 mm (2- US; 11 - UK) – but you can also use regular double-pointed needles. You will also need a cable needle, 4 stitch markers, scissors, a wool needle, and possibly a measuring tape.
