This crochet pattern contains instruction with step-by-step on how to make the big granny square.

To create such crochet purse you shall know how to make:

CH - chain stitch;
SlSt - slip stitch;
DC - double crochet.

Finish size: side of the square - 10 3/4 inches (~27 cm). If you need a smaller square, use a smaller hook size.

To calculate the total yarn needed, multiply the weight of the square by the total number of squares required. For a cardigan, you will need 16 squares. Crochets chart is provided in Appendix.
