Horse Alma crochet pattern

Hello dear crochet friend,
nice that you are here. With these crochet pattern, you can crochet the horse Alma.

The instructions were extensively put to the test by testers. You can also find pictures of the results on my Instagram profile.

The instructions contain 25 pages with 100 pictures and guide you step by step to your goal. The instructions are suitable for beginners with a little experience and talent.

You should be able to do the following for the instructions:
• single crochet
• chain stitches
• slip stitches
• half double crochet
• Magic ring
• You should also know how to increase and decrease stitches and how a color change works. The pattern also uses the popcorn stitch, which will be explained again.

The horse Alma is mostly crocheted in spiral rounds, except for the hair, bridle, and parts of the
saddle. The legs and head are worked into the body as you go. The mane, tail, and ears are sewn
on.

The size of Alma depends on the materials you use and your crocheting technique. I used a fine
chenille yarn and crocheted with X stitches for the pattern. The horse is about 24 cm tall.

• Chenille yarn (100g/160m):

• 1,5 ball of brown
• 1/2 ball of black
• 1/4 ball of beige
• 1/4 ball of grey
  • Remains of cotton yarn in black, white und brown
  • One pair of black safety eyes 14 mm
  • Crochet hook 4,0 mm
  • Fiberfill
  • Long needle
  • Pins
  • Stitch marker or a small piece of contrasting yarn
  • Scissors

You should of course adjust the size of the crochet hook to your yarn. You should
also adjust the size of the eyes depending on the yarn you are using and how big your horse will
be. You can of course choose the colors of your horse according to your taste. You can also
crochet Alma completely with cotton yarn.
