**A modern cropped sweater, Tunisian crocheted from four panels – all worked in the same stitch pattern and format.
The panels are joined with single crochet stitches in a contrasting color, creating a visible seam. Optionally, you can add ribbing at the bottom edge and on the sleeves – either as a decorative detail or to extend the length if the cropped sweater feels too short.
The result is a versatile garment that can be made cropped or longer, and customized with creative color choices.
On the photo you can see two versions: one sleeve with ribbing and one without – both look stylish, as the contrasting seams create a decorative finish.**
Confident beginners with some experience in basic stitches are also welcome to try this project – a bit of practice is recommended, but the pattern remains accessible.
What You Get!
You will receive a detailed and richly illustrated 21-page patter, that guides you step by step through the project.
Pattern contents:
This pattern does not use standard clothing sizes (S, M, L, XL or 38/40/42 …). Instead, the correct size is determined individually based on your gauge swatch and the measurement tables included in the pattern. This way, you can adjust the sweater precisely to your own body measurements.
For my sample (height approx. 1.50 m), I used a 4-threads yarn with a yardage of 1,000 m. The actual yardage required may vary depending on your size and desired length. Detailed information is provided in the measurement tables included in the pattern.
