TeaCosyFolk's End of the War Kiss Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

Product description

Commemorate VJ Day with the iconic kiss that brought smiles to the world with a tea cosy that’s both nostalgic and delightful.

Inspired by the iconic photograph captured on VJ Day, this celebratory tea cosy design emerged straight from the knitting needles, brimming with history and sentiment.

At the heart of the cosy is the sailor, looking dashing in his deep navy uniform and pristine white hat. In his embrace is a passing dental nurse, swept into this timeless moment of spontaneous joy. Together, they embody the triumph, unity, and relief of peace following the turbulence of wartime.

Crafted entirely with Stylecraft yarn, this intricately detailed tea cosy is designed to fit a medium-sized Price & Kensington teapot. It’s more than just a cosy—it’s a heartfelt nod to a poignant chapter in history, giving tea lovers a warm story to accompany their brew. Perfect for those who appreciate meaningful designs and the magic of historical storytelling.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast or a tea lover, this unique tea cosy pattern is sure to steal your heart and your teapot's spotlight.

The End of the War Kiss tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
