PATTERN NOTES
The pattern has sizing instructions for sizes small, medium, and large.
This granny squares pattern is mainly double crochet stitches in clusters.
The colors used are: Black, Yellow and Orange
The granny square motif is worked in circles or worked around.
The turning chain counts as a stitch thus; the first ch 3 plus the first 2 dc counts as the first 3
dccl.
To join the a different colored yarn, make a slip knot and place your hook where the fastening
chain 1 from the previous round ended, pull the yarn through the hook and ch 3 (the ch 3 counts
as the first dc) then pull the tail of the other yarn to tighten, then turn your work.
This cardigan is made in:
23 granny squares; 9 for the back, 6 for the front (3 on each side), 8 for the arms (4 for each
arm)
The yarn used is light weight, I used double strands to increase the yarn weight
