Add a touch of old-world charm to your teapot with the Spinning Jenny Tea Cosy, inspired by the hardworking women who mastered the craft of spinning.
Inspired by vintage photographs of spinners, the Spinning Jenny Tea Cosy brings a touch of nostalgia and elegance to your teapot.
Meet Jenny, she spins yarn the old way on a spinning wheel, she has grey hair neatly tucked under a bonnet and she wears a beautifully detailed shawl adorned with a floral border, which drapes over her shoulders and adds a touch of colour to her ensemble.
The spinning wheel itself is intricately knitted in parts and then assembled. A helpful map is provided to guide you through the process, showing where all the parts join together.
To assist with the trickier aspects of the knitting pattern, there are YouTube help videos available. The links to these videos are included in the knitting pattern and are case-sensitive, so be sure to enter them accurately.
This is an 8 page knitting pattern, with helpful photos to guide you. The tea cosy is worked flat and is knitted on two knitting needles.
The Spinning Jenny Tea Cosy is a delightful way to honour the history of spinning yarn, with intricate details and a charming design.
