IMPORTANT: You are buying a PDF crochet pattern, NOT the finished bird.
This pattern is included in English AND German – both PDF versions are part of the download.
A colourful bird to crochet – about 30 cm tall, in light turquoise, with orange feet, blue safety eyes and a hat of its own. The feathers are crocheted in twelve different rainbow colours and shaped over wire.
Its friend the worm belongs with it – in light purple, purple and pink.
Three hook sizes are used: 2.5 mm for the bird, 2 mm for the feathers and 4 mm for the hat. 15 pages, written round by round.
Photo note: The crocheted item is real and made by me. On some photos the background was AI-generated or digitally edited.
If you run into any trouble, or if an error has slipped in somewhere: please message me FIRST, before leaving a review – we'll sort it out together!
Required skills: chain (ch), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st), increase (inc), decrease (dec), magic circle (mc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), triple crochet (tc).
The pattern is a step-by-step PDF. Every round or row is written out individually. Wire is worked into the feathers and secured with tape and fabric glue.
The bird is about 30 cm / 12 inches tall.
Gauge: 16 stitches × 16 rows = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 inches (2.5 mm hook).
