Headband and Scarf

In this pattern I show you how to knit a lovely and cozy combo of a headband and scarf. The pattern contains both an explanation in text form (row by row) and a knitting chart. The pattern (braid pattern) is a combination of knit and purl stitches.

The instructions comprise 19 pages with lots of pictures and links to my videos, which also explain the basics of knitting (cast-on, knit stitches, purl stitches, edge stitches, binding off) and finishing (sewing together (two methods)).

Difficulty: suitable for beginners
This pattern is also suitable for beginners. No previous knowledge is required.

Dimensions of the headband:
Circumference: approx. 56 cm, width: approx. 8 cm;
The size can be adjusted by changing the number of rows and stitches.

Dimensions of the scarf:
Length: approx. 115 cm, width: approx. 24 cm;
The size can be adjusted by changing the number of rows and stitches.

• Yarn used: ONline line 497 Delago, color 0104 (50 g, 130 m)

• Quantity for headband + scarf: approx. 100 - 150 g (depending on the desired head circumference/width of the headband or length/width of the scarf)

• Knitting needles for the headband: size 4.5 mm

• Knitting needles for the scarf: size 9.0 mm
