The head is attached to the body with a cotter pin, which allows you to turn the
head in the different directions. The head can also be sewn to the body without
using the cotter pins, in this case the head will not turn. It all depends on your
capabilities and desires.
The snail is crocheted very easily and quickly, more than 80 photos have been
added to the description.
The pattern does not contain basic course of crocheting – you should already have the basic knowledge.
The pattern includes 16 pages with description and 80 pictures.

Not for beginners.
The size of the snail is 35 cm if using the pointed yarn. If desired, you can make
a smaller snail, in the form of a small toy. To do this, use a thinner yarn and a
suitable crocheting hook.
Materials:
Green yarn for the snail 200 g. Himalaya Dolphin Baby
100gr/120m
Purple yarn 170 g. Himalaya Dolphin Baby 100gr/120m
Dark purple yarn 50 g. Himalaya Dolphin Baby
100gr/120m
Yellow yarn 60 g. Himalaya Dolphin Baby 100gr/120m
The size of the snail will depend on the chosen yarn, the
thicker the yarn, the more it will be needed for crocheting
and the bigger the toy will be.
Crocheting hook 4 mm
Eyes 20 mm in diameter
Stuffing, 1 needle for sewing and tightening, Paints or
marker for the fabric of a suitable color.
The cotter pin joint sets with disks of the following sizes
for the head 40 mm, for the nack 45 mm.

Eins ist mir nicht klar, wozu die beiden Aussparungen (je 6 Machen abgemascht)
sind. für die Augen erscheinen sie mir zu gross.
Einen Gelenksatz verwende ich nicht.

Leider habe ich Ihre Frage nicht gesehen, da ich Kommentare nicht immer lese.
Per E-Mail kann ich Ihnen besser helfen, auch mit Bildern, falls nötig.
Übrigens: Sie können die Schnecke auch ohne Gelenksätze arbeiten. In diesem Fall wird der Kopf rundherum angenäht – das sorgt für einen deutlich besseren Halt.
