This month I have 20% off on two great knitting patterns!
First it is the warm and snuggly set of scarf and hat "Caradhras". You will geht two patterns for one!
The set can be knitted of any snuggly winter yarn in sport, DK, worsted to bulky weight.
You will need approx. 200 – 300 grams of yarn for the scarf and approx. 100 grams of yarn for the hat.
To turn the scarf into a loop you need 4 buttons. The hat is knitted in back- and forth rows starting from a provisional cast-on. The stitches of the cast-on row are later grafted in kitchener stitch to the last row so there is no visible seam.
The pattern contains a written part and charts. It is translated from German to English and was proof-read by a native speaker.
This loop can be knitted in many yarn weights. Even in DK-yarn you will get a great result. Size is customizable, as well as yarn consumption. Also for leftovers and the use of different yarn weights, the loop is very well suited. Let your creativity flow!
Needed materials:
Approx100-200 gr yarn (max. DK-weight)
2 circular needles with 80 or 100 cm width with at least half a needle size difference (at laceweight yarn I recommend size 3 and 3.5 / US 3 and 4)
Measuretape
Digital kitchen or other fine scale
Stitchmarker
There is no prescribed stitch count for the loop. You need a gauge to calculate the required number of stitches.
The pattern contains many examples for using different types and length of yarns. It is translated from German to English and proof-read.
