Halbes Doppelstäbchen = einfaches Stäbchen?

Liebe Nutzer, liebe Autoren,
ich hab im Internet den Begriff "Halbes Doppelstäbchen" gefunden. Ist das identisch mit einem einfachen Stäbchen oder eher nicht?

Nein, das halbe Doppelstäbchen ist nicht identisch mit einem normalen Stäbchen.
Beim halben Doppelstäbchen wird der Anfang und das erste Abmaschen wie beim normalen Doppelstäbchen
gemacht. Und dann werden alle restlichen Schlingen auf einmal abgemascht. Es wird also nur die Hälfte eines normalen Doppelstäbchens gehäkelt. Deshalb heißt es halbes Doppelstäbchen.
