This tutorial will accompany you step by step to receive a decorative mug cozy with the shape of one of 4 animals: fish, mouse, lady bug or turtle. Detailed pictures will help you to understand the production process.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics, but requires some experience in crocheting. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet, crochet in rounds and lines, sewing and embroidering. (Crochet terms in british english!)

If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 200y/3.5oz (90m/50g) and a hook size 3.5, the mug cozy will fit for mugs with a diameter of approx. 8 cm and about 9 cm height.
