Now the popular fillable chickens are also available in a large version. Quickly crocheted with thick chenille wool, it is just the right size for a few Easter sweets. Of course, you can also hide and give away secret messages, money, vouchers, pieces of jewelry, a silk scarf, a tie, socks or other small items.
A wonderful weekend or evening project. The body is crocheted with single crochet stitches, the tail feathers and comb are crocheted directly to the body. The legs are joined together and are worked into the body. All you have to do at the end is attach the beak and close a seam, otherwise no sewing is necessary (except for 1 button).
The instructions include the hens in two versions - multicolored striped or multicolored without stripes. There are also instructions for the heart and the egg.
The heart and egg are the perfect filling for your chicken (once all the sweets have been eaten).
You will receive detailed PDF instructions (19 pages) with text, step-by-step pictures and crochet diagram.
Crochet with ch, slst, sc, hdc, dc and puffstitches (explained in detail - only for the comb).
Suitable for beginners.
Hen: length from the tail feather to the tip of the toe approx. 21 cm and height approx. 16 cm
Egg: approx. 7 cm (height) x 5.5 cm (width)
Heart: approx. 11 cm (height) and 11 cm (width)
