Music In the Mix Blanket Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern And Charts

There is one design chart included in this pattern PDF with the grid squares marked with an X, it can be enlarged for easier viewing. You can also download the Excel chart for use on your Excel program or Google Sheets. You can follow the grid chart and/or written instructions or use both.

If you know how to do the Overlay Mosaic Crochet Technique, you should have no problem finishing this blanket.
If you do not know how to do this technique, it is very simple and easy to learn, I would suggest you watch a couple videos to get an understanding on how it is done. There is also instructions on how to do this in the pattern.

Inside the pattern there is a copy of a grid chart where the x is used, It is also divided into 4 parts so it can be enlarged or printed out easily. It also has row by row written instructions.

The finished blanket is approximately 58" x 60". It can be made smaller by using a lighter yarn. The yarn used in this is size 4 medium, worsted weight.

Supplies Needed:
Size H (5 mm) Crochet Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn Size 4 medium
Color A: Background color - White - Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo - 3 skeins. Or… your favorite color.
Color Bs: Design color Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Stripes (Bright Stripes) or your favorite in a contrast color - 3.4 skeins Also: (a sparkle yarn would be very pretty too)
Border Yarn: Matching yarn for Color B.
