DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Beginner-Intermediate
If you use the yarn and hook indicated, the hippo snuggler will be about 31 cm (12.2 inches) tall. You can make it bigger or smaller by using another type of yarn but please, adapt the crochet hook and eyes accordingly.
· Bulky yarn (velvet/ chenille). I used “Himalaya Dolphin Baby” 100g/120m (100% Micro Polyester) in light turquoise #80347, dark turquoise #80354 and cream #80308. Similar yarns: Katia Bambi, YarnArt Dolce, Hobbii Baby Snuggle.
· Black sport yarn to embroider the eyebrows
· 4.5 mm crochet hook
· Polyester fiberfill
· Yarn needle
· Stitch marker
· 10 mm black safety eyes
