For Ida, soft-draping woven fabrics are suitable, with viscose and silk fabrics being particularly good choices. Crêpe Georgette is also an excellent option.

Cotton woven fabrics are quite stiff and do not drape as nicely. For cotton fabrics, you can insert elastic at the hem to gather it and prevent it from standing away from the body. In such cases, you can still use these fabrics.

The table below indicates how much fabric you'll need to sew your blouse, assuming a fabric width of 145 cm. Additionally, you'll need lightweight (interfacing) for the neck facings (G710, H180). If your cotton fabric is stiffer, you can choose to sew the blouse without interfacing.

Main Fabric: 104 to 148 cm (depending on sleeve length and size)
Interfacing: 26 cm
Optional: 2nd Fabric for facings and flounce
Elastic: 10 mm for neckline and hem, and 5 mm for sleeve hems
