crochet pattern for the symmetrical triangle shawl

Here you can purchase my instructions for my crocheted symmetrical triangle shawl "illusion".

It is a flat shawl with a very interesting structure thanks to the mix of FPdc, BPdc and dc. The first rows are a little bit tricky, but when the pattern is visible, it gets easier.

The pattern includes written instructions and crochet charts. I also added a photo tutorial from the first rows.

The instructions are written in German and English (US terms).

Children's size:
1000m/3. hook size 3.0. dimensions: 1.60 m x 0.30 m.

Adults:
1600m/4. hook size 4.5. dimensions: 2.17 m x 0.50 m.
1700m/3. hook size 3.0. dimensions: 2.00 m x 0.50 m. (crocheted rather tightly)

The real shawl size depends on how loosely or tightly you crochet. The sample shawls were crocheted rather tightly.

3- or 4-ply gradient yarn with a running length of at least 1200 m. For a child-sized shawl you need about 900 m yarn.

You should use a crochet hook that matches the yarn.
