Crochet Pattern Triangular Scarf "Nyx" - individual scarf

With the crochet pattern for the triangular scarf "Nyx" you can crochet your individual scarf, and include your name or a personal message:

The pattern includes:

• 26 main patterns, each pattern is assigned to a letter in the alphabet
• 6 loose patterns in between, you can roll the dice to decide which one to crochet, or simply pick the one you like most

By combining the individual 26 patterns, you can crochet either your name, or e.g. a message (for mum, thank you etc), or you can simply pick the patterns you like most and combine them. The patterns are completely interchangeable and therefore no scarf will be exactly the same as the one another person crochets!

The pattern can also be followed by beginners who know following stitches:

• magic ring
• chain
• double crochet
• front post double crochet
• back post double crochet
• front post treble

The pattern includes:

• general information and information on how to combine the individual patterns
• used material, tools, stitches and abbreviations
• written description of each row
• crochet chart (drawn on the computer)
• photo of each ot the 6 intermediate patterns and 26 main patterns
• information on stitch count (table)

The scarf can be crocheted in any size, as you can combine as many different patterns as you like. The pattern includes a table with size information for different number of main patterns, different wool and hook size (as guidance).

Following tools are needed:

• crochet hook 3.5 mm
• scissors
• sewing needle
• optional: pins for stretching

Following wool was used:

• manufacturer: Garninspirationen and more by Bianka (facebook group)
• 4 thread wool (3 threads with 50% cotton, 50% polyacryl, 1 thread Contessa Lurex with 43% cotton, 43% polyacryl, 9% polyester, 5% polyamid) (corresponds to sports or fingering yarn weight)
• 1500 m (1360 m were used for the scarf in the main photo)
• color: individual color set "Claudia"

Any other wool can be used as well.
