Knitting pattern baby / kids blanket "Wonderworld" - easy

Children see the world with a sense of wonder – every animal, every figure, even the smallest blade of grass is a little miracle for them. And of course they believe in fairies and magic worlds. We all should retain a bit of this faith in wonder and magic.
With this blanket your child can snuggle up inside such a wonderworld and dream of magic adventures

The motif is created only by knit and purl stitches. The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this lovely blanket, so even ambitioned beginners will succeed. And if there should be any questions, I`ll be happy to help!

You will get very detailed directions with written instructions for each row. In addition you will get a knitting chart for the motif in a separate file. You can choose if you go with the written instructions or prefer working with the knitting chart.

Stockinette stitch: 22 stitches x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

With this gauge, size of the finished blanket will be approx. 80 x 100 cm.

• Wollbutt Venia (running length 318 m / 100 gr) about 3-4 skeins à 100 gr in rose; my blanket has a weight of about 330 gr; depending on your personal knitting tension the exact weight may vary
  alternatively you can use any yarn which is suitable for babies; size of the finished blanket may be different then
• 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, minimum 80 cm
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
