Crochet pattern 2-in-1: Pentagonal scarf "Maira"

With this pattern you can crochet two beautiful pentagonal scarfs. The first scarf has a dense pattern, cosy and warm, and ideal for winter. The second scarf consists of loads of small triangles. Both scarfs can be crocheted in any size.

The two scarfs can be crocheted also by beginners (especially the dense one), who know following stitches:

• magic ring
• chain
• single crochet
• double crochet
• front post double crochet
• back post double crochet

The pattern includes:

• generel information on the pattern
• information on used material, wool, tools
• information on used stitches, including abbreviations
• written description of each row
• crochet chart (drawn on the computer)

The scarfs shown on the main picture has following dimensions: ca. 150 cm x 60 cm.

The scarf can be crocheted in any size.

Following tools are needed:

• crochet hook 3.5 mm
• scissors
• sewing needle
• optional: stitch marker
• pins for stretching

Following wool was used:

• manufacturer: Garninspirationen and more by Bianka (facebook group)
• material: 50% cotton, 50% polyacryl, 1300 m meterage, 4 thread wool (corresponds to sports or fingering yarn weight)
• color: Cassis Noir
• 1170 m were used for the purple scarf, ca. 1500 m were used for the dense orange/yellow scarf

I would recommend to use not less than 1300 m for the scarf with the triangles, and not less than 1500 m for the dense scarf.
