With needle hook 2.5 the big penguin will be around 9,5 cm tall and 5,5 cm diameter.The baby penguin will be around 6 cm tall and 4,5 cm diameter.

Yarn: Use the colors and size you prefer and the matching crochet hook.
I've used crochet hook in 2.5 and the following Schachenmayr Catania yarn:
For the big penguin:
black
yellow
white
For the Babypenguin:
white
light gray
dark gray
Soft stuffing
A pair of 6 mm safety eyes (if you choose another yarn, you will perhaps need different eyes)
A needle and some black yarn for embroidering, sewing pins, scissors, stitch marker (optional)
