It is big enough to grow with and will also delight your heart as a crawl blanket.

And who knows, maybe it will accompany the child as a cuddle blanket all the way to the student flat-sharing community.

Herzbärchen is a blanket for life.

The pattern is worked in C2C technique.

In the download you will find a test pattern to familiarise yourself with my method of presentation. It is also suitable for beginners, but may differ from the usual instructions.

My baby blanket is approx. 109 x 109cm with a stitch gauge of approx. 11 x 11 blocks = 10cm.

If you want to make it smaller, please send me a PN. I will gladly convert it to the right tension for you.

I used 18 balls (=2200) „Merinocot“ by Lana Gatto (53% Merino / 47% BW, 50g = 125m) and a crochet hook 3,5mm
