Welcome to my first CAL on Crazypatterns.

If you want to crochet these cute elves together with other participants, then you've come to the right place.

I set up a help group on Facebook especially for this event. There you will find fast and unlimited help with questions about the Cal, material and procedure directly from my team (team consists of German, Dutch and English testers!) and me. My experience with such CAL groups is very positive, as members can also exchange information there and show pictures of their progress. So far, my CAL's on Facebook have always been great fun and everyone had a great time in the group.

With the one-time purchase of the CAL you are there. So you get all parts. These PDF files are available for download for the entire duration of the event.

I have discounted the purchase price. So if you get in with the info file and the list of materials from July 24th, 2022, you will receive the complete CAL with a 30% discount.
The discount decreases with each additional part, i.e. if you only get on from part 2 (you get the info file and all other parts), you only get a 10% discount on the complete CAL. From part 3, the full purchase price applies. Being quick is worth it and saves money ;)

All important information about the CAL can be found in the info file in your download folder after purchase. Please read them carefully.

It is possible to join the CAL later at any time. All parts remain in your download folder until the end of the CAL and can be downloaded/updated for the entire duration, i.e. you have no time pressure, since all parts are retained and are not deleted after a certain time as usual.
The CAL consists of an info file + material list and 4 parts. I will always expand/update part 1 by a few pages, i.e. at the end you have a coherent guide (example: part 1 = page 1 -10, part 1+2 = page 1 - 20 ..).

Note! The CAL takes place in 3 languages. So there are always 3 files in the download folder. These are marked with the respective languages. Download your language there.

The CAL starts on 08/07/2022 at around 11 a.m. and ends on 10/02/2022 at 11 a.m.

I try to expand the parts by 12 p.m. on the specified date.
I recommend that you only print out the instructions at the end or only the extended pages, otherwise you will print out pages 1 - 27 twice and three times ;)

The elf is crocheted in single crochet using the Yarn Under technique. You can also use your usual crocheting technique, this can make the decreases look a little different, but this is not a problem and does not affect the result (was tested during the test crochet). You should be able to crochet spiral rounds, decreases and increases.

In the end, the complete instructions comprise 32 pages and are equipped with many detailed, colored images. So everyone should be able to achieve a nice result.

I mainly work with 100% cotton and a needle size of 2.0. You
you can also use any other wool and also a different needle size.
This may change the specified size of the figure. If you with Carina
(comparable to Schachenmayr Catania) and a needle size of 2.0,
the elf will be about 40cm tall. Unless otherwise specified, it is always in
Crochet spiral rounds and do NOT finish with a slip stitch at the end of the round.
If you crochet in rows, this is indicated separately.

I crocheted the elf in 2 color variants. Finally, there are green and purple ones
grapes :).
You can choose which color variant you like better.
I always state the material as 50 grams.

Elf in green
• 3 x 50 gr. skin color
• 2 x 50 gr. gradient - green or very light green
• 2 x 50 gr. dark green
• 1 x 50 gr. white
• 3 x 50 gr. apple green
• 1 x 50 gr. brown (shouldn't be too bright)
• 2 effect eyes 20mm (for gluing!)
• 8 wooden dowels (25cm)
• 5 x pipe cleaners
• 500gr granules (for better stability)
