Crochet Pattern Triangular Scarf "Lytaia"

With this pattern you can crochet the beautiful symmetrical triangle shawl "Lytaia". The charming leaf pattern is interspersed with small braids, the shawl is loose / airy and therefore ideal for spring and autumn!

The instructions are for advanced crocheters who are comfortable with the stitches listed below. The shawl is symmetrically constructed, and can be crocheted in any size as desired, since the rows repeat.

The following stitches are used:

• chain stitches
• double crochet
• front post double crochet
• back post double crochet
• increase/decrease

The scarf shown on the pictures has following dimensions: 130 x 130 x 185 cm.

The size may vary a bit, if you use different wool or a different hook size.

The scarf can be crocheted in any desired size, as the rows repeat.

Following tools/material are needed:

• crochet hook 3.5 mm
• scissors
• sewing needle for sewing the loose ends
• optional: stitch marker
• pins for stretching the shawl

Following wool was used: Lilu's Märchengarne, 4-thread bobble (43% acrylic, 43% cotton, 9% polyester, 5% polyamide), 1140 m length, 300 g, color: Mystery Purple - the whole bobble was used for the shawl.
