Crofters Thatched Cottage Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

Product description

Who doesn't love a chocolate box style cottage and the Crofters Thatched Cottage Tea Cosy is as charming as any rural idyll cottage.

Crofters cottages are small traditional single storey dwelling for crofters, who were land workers and their families. These little cottages have oodles of country cottage charm.

The roof is thatched and the edges of the roof come right down to rest on the tops of the windows. There is a chimney to an old log fire place where the crofters sit in the evening, and outside each window is a flower filled window box and hollyhocks grow up beside the house.
I thought that a hen clucking around would be a fun addition, and I'm sure the crofters would appreciate a nice fresh egg or two.

The crofters cottage is cute and cosy and perfect to keep the teapot hot.

The 6 page knitting pattern contains lots of photos to help and guide you.

The pattern is knitted on two pins and is easy to follow.

The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting it very soon!

This product is the knitting pattern only; to knit your own Crofters Thatched Cottage tea cosy.

The 6 page knitting pattern is written in English. There are no charts. There is a help video on Youtube to knit the Hollyhocks, the link to the video is included in the pattern.
