Meerkat

Here you can find the pattern for a meerkat in english and german.
You can find find two options how to make the little meerkat.

The pattern can also be done by beginners and lefthanders.
You need to know basic knowledge in chrocheting:

magic ring
single crochet
chain
slip stitch
half double crochet
increase
decrease

Around 7 cm long (without the tail, with the tail it‘s 14 cm), 7 cm wide and 13 cm tall. (Be careful, if you‘re using a crochet hook in a different size, the meerkat will be bigger or smaller.)
There are two options for the body so the dimensions can be a bit different whether you choose the first or the second.

• Yarn – just use the colors and size you prefer
  I used Schachenmayr Catania yarn in three different types of brown, and a crochet hook in 2.5 mm
  (first color middle brown, second color light brown, third color dark brown)

• Soft stuffing

• A pair of 6 mm safety eyes (if you choose another yarn, you will perhaps need different eyes)

• A needle and some yarn for sewing, sewing pins, scissors, stitch marker (optional)
