With these instructions you can crochet your own top for next summer. This crochet tee shirt is calculated for all children's and women's sizes. The pattern is therefore also suitable for plus sizes.
In addition to instructions, you will receive valuable tips on how to crochet a well-fitting shirt yourself: the importance of the right gauge and choosing the right size.

This summer top is crocheted entirely in the shell pattern stitch, which has been my favorite stitch pattern for a long time. The name "Muschel Tee" is made up of the German word for shell and the English word "tee" for t-shirt.
And another pattern for babies and children is also available.
This shirt is worked in the round, bottom up. A sewing needle is only needed to weave in the ends. The sleeve seam is closed with slip stitches and your hook.

• There is a schematic with accompanying table. This contains the final dimensions of the summer top.

With this pattern you will know in advance exactly what dimensions your top will have after crocheting.

This product consists of 2 patterns:

• The instructions for children are written for all sizes from 3 months to 16 years.
• The instructions for women are written for all sizes from XS to 5XL.

For this design it is very important to choose a yarn with a good drape. It is best to choose a yarn with viscose or bamboo. Possibly very soft cotton yarns could also work. A few examples are listed below.

Average yarn consumption women: 1.440" (1.320m) (XS) to 3.590" (3.280m) (5XL)
