Crochet Pattern Scarf "Oreia"

The weather is getting warmer and warmer, therefore the scarf "Oreia" is again a wonderful airy and loose scarf that is quickly crocheted, but still has a eye-catching pattern!

The scarf can be crocheted in any width and length, as the pattern is repeated within the scarf. The instructions explain exactly how you can widen and lengthen the scarf as desired.

The pattern is not necessarily TV friendly, and you should already be familiar with front post and back post double crochet stitches.

The pattern is not suitable for beginners, and you should be familiar with front post and back post double crochet stitches. The pattern includes a description of used stitches (incl. photos), and a crochet chart, if you prefer this type of instruction.

Following stitches are used:

• chain stitch
• double crochet
• front post double crochet
• back post double crochet
• increase
• decrease

The scarf shown on the pictures has following dimensions: 35 x 185 cm.

Length and width of the scarf can easily be adjusted as wanted.

The size will differ, if you crochet tighter or looser, or if you use a different wool or hook size.

Used material/tools:

• crochet hook 3.5 mm
• scissors
• sewing needle
• pins to stretch the scarf
• optional: stitch markers

The following wool was used: Lilu's Märchengarne, 4-thread bobbel, 50% cotton and 50% polyacrylic mix, 200 g, 760 m length (the entire bobble was used); color: Hexenkessel
