This pattern is beginner friendly and quick to make.
The half moon water melon is crocheted in continuous spiral rounds first and then in the row.
There will be colour changes.
Chains don't count as a stitch when we crochet in the row.

The triangle water melon is only crocheted in the round and also involves colour changes.
Feel free to use a smaller hook, thinner yarn and smaller eyes to make smaller melons.
