Sleeping Bunny

Using this sleeping bunny with clothes crochet pattern in English, you yourself can crochet this beautyful toy for your child or grandchild over 3. This toy will be a great gift for Easter or Birthday.

A child of 3-7 years old will be happy to play with this bunny, because all the bunny's clothes are removed, the bunny's arms and legs can move. The bunny can sit and lie down, but CANNOT stand without support. With this toy, your child's imagination will develop.

The instruction DOESN’T contain basic crochet lessons. Description is designed for users who know how to crochet. You should be able to crochet these stitches:

CH = chain
MC = magic circle
SLST = slip stitch
SC = single crochet
HDC = half double crochet
DC = double crochet
INC = increase (crochet 2 st out in stitch)
DEC = decrease (crochet 2 st together)
BLO = back loop only

Length of the toy along with the legs is ~5.8-6” (14,5-15 cm)

IMPORTANT
The gauge is important for crocheting the head and the cap. My toy’s head circumference is 8” (20 cm). Cap’s circumference 8.4” (21 cm).
If your gauge is very different from mine, it might happen so that the cap will not fit your toy. In this case you will have to adjust (add or remove) the number of stitches for the cap or switch to another size hook.

• YarnArt Jeans yarn 55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 160 m/50gr for bunny. You can use any sport or worsted yarn for your bunny. I used mix wool yarn; the yardage is approx. the same with Jeans yarn.

• Alize Cotton Gold yarn, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic; 165 m/50gr for the hubcap, collar and slippers

• Consider changing Crochet hook that is convenient for you when using such kind of yarn to use a crochet hook that gives you a nice firm fabric. I used 2.5 mm hook for Alize Cotton Gold yarn
