The instruction DOESN’T contain basic crochet lessons. Description is designed for users who know how to crochet. You should be able to crochet these stitches:

CH = chain
SLST = slip stitch
SC = single crochet
INC = increase (crochet 2 st out in stitch)
BLO = back loop only

Length of the toy along with the ring is ~5” (12.5 cm)

You can use any sport or worsted yarn for your rainbow.

I used this yarn for my rattles:

• YarnArt JEANS, 55% cotton, 45% acrilyc; 160 m/50gr
• Alize Cotton Gold, 55% cotton, 45% acrilyc; 165 m/50gr

• Gazzal Organic Baby Cotton 100% organic cotton 115 m/50gr

• Some white laced yarn for the dividing sleep stiches. I used Vita Cotton Pelican yarn
• Crochet hook that is convenient for you when using this kind of yarn. I used 2.5 mm hook for rainbow and 1.5 mm for white yarn
• Needle for sewing
• Wooden ring 2.2-2.4" (5.5-6 cm) in diameter
• Scissors
• Stuffing (holofiber or any synthetic material)
• Flat rattle with a diameter of 1-1.5 "
• Crochet markers
• Wooden beads 2 pcs 12 mm in diameter and 1 pcs 14 mm in diameter (if you choose 2nd assebling option).
