SKILLS REQUIRED:

FINISHED SIZE:
Approx. 7 cm/2.8 inches tall using the materials stated in the pattern.
You can use a thicker yarn to make the toy bigger.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

• ✓ Main orange yarn. Fluffy or textured yarn - I used 20 g of yarn that has 1100m in a 100g skein.
• ✓ Crochet hook 1.25 mm, or any other suitable size for the selected yarn.
• ✓ Additional white and black yarn for the muzzle and limbs – I used 10g of white and 5 g of black of yarn that has 800 m in a 100 g skein.
  Note: Make sure your main and additional yarns crochet to the same gauge.
• ✓ Additional white fluffy yarn (optional) for the side whiskers.
• ✓ 2 black beads (I used 1 mm diameter) a small piece of white polymer clay for the whites of the eyes. You can use safety eyes instead.
• ✓ Copper wire 1 mm in diameter or nichrome with a diameter of 0.8 mm (130 cm – 51 inches).
• ✓ Fishing line for the whiskers (I used 200 cm – 79 inches).
• ✓ Black fabric felt-tip pen to draw stripes.
• ✓ Stuffing.
• ✓ Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to work up the wire.
• ✓ Tapestry needle and strong thread for needle sculpting (optional)
