Crochet Marine Corps Pattern

This little Crochet Marine Pattern will be a sure hit. The pattern comes with instructions for everything shown in the pictures. It is easy to follow and is written in US terminology. What a perfect outfit for photo prop pictures. A keepsake to keep for the military family.

The pattern itself is quite easy, but there are some stitches that may be new for a beginner.

Stitches Used:
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
reverse single crochet
front post double crochet
back post double crochet

12 Month Size

Materials:
4.5mm Crochet Hook
5mm Crochet Hook
1 Skein Redheart Black or any worsted weight yarn
1 Skein Royal Blue, I used Impeccable by Loops and Threads, worsted
weight yarn #4.
Small amount red worsted weight
1/2 Skein White Redheart yarn or any worsted weight.
Tapestry needle
21 medium size buttons. ( I used wooden buttons that I sprayed painted gold)
Decals for jacket. I bought the decals shown at Michaels. You can use
whatever you would like. Remember it is for a baby jacket so just have fun
with it. Make it personal if you would like.
