Approx. 21 cm/8.3 inches tall using the materials stated in the pattern.

• Main yarn. “Mohair Delicate” by Nako (40% mohair, 60% acrylic, 500m/100g), yellow (40g), white (5g) (unless you prefer the giraffe without stripes), brown for the mane and tassel (5g)
  You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the Gauge section.

• Crochet hook 1.5 mm or any other suitable size for the selected yarn
• 2 ready-made eyes with a diameter of 8mm. Or you can use black beads with a diameter of 6mm (for a toy the same size as stated)
• Wire – Nichrome wire 0,7-0,8mm in diameter (110m) or copper wire 1mm in diameter (100cm)
• Transparent glue
• Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to wrap the wire ends.
• For the cotter pin joints (when using yarn as suggested in this pattern):
  4 discs with a diameter of 20mm, 4 washers with a diameter of 12mm, 2 cotter pins 2 x 25mm
• Round-nose pliers (preferably small)
• Any weight for the bum, some suggested materials are glass beads, plastic pellets, small marbles or steel shot (optional)
• Strong thread for needle sculpting in a matching colour
• Stuffing – Fiberfill
• Brush (optional)
• Tinting (optional) - any material you like (acrylic fabric paint, oil pastels, oil paints).
