VE Day Winston Churchill Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

The Winston Churchill Tea Cosy is great fun and brings a touch of humerious VE day fun to your teapot.

Winston Churchill was a large, old man and always wore a jacket and waistcoat. He was often photographed with a cigar and his homburg hat.

So the tea cosy include all these things that we associate with Winston Churchill, the suit, the dickie bow, the homburg, the cigar and I have tried to accentuate this bulk and given him a larger head.

Because it's VE day he is getting ready for a street party, and many people did to mark VE day. Churchill is helping hang out some Red, White and Blue bunting, but he does seem to be getting a bit tangled up in it. The bunting is wrapped all around the back of him.
