Knitting pattern blanket "meditation"

I started to create this blanket in a difficult situation of my life. I’ve been knitting my whole life long and always believed in the positive effect of knitting with all it’s meditative movements in combination with time for contemplation. It took me years to knit it. ….But it worked and I survived!

If you have a mountain of problems in front of you, this blanket can help you find the quiet to think so you can clear the mountain brick by brick. A mountain is nothing more than a big pile of stones.

It is interesting that the blanket warms you while you are knitting. I firmly believe that you can knit away your problems with it. They will no longer be problems, because you have found solutions.

As a finished blanket, it will always remind you of what you have already achieved. Be especially proud of that!

The manual is easy to understand and consists charts. Only knit and purl are used stitches.

My blanket is (with a gauge of 27 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm) approx. 136x206cm.

If you use thicker material, it will be wider. You can adjust the length.

I used 4500 running metres (approx. 1500g) of sock wool and a circular needle 2.5mm at least 80cm long.

The blanket also looks wonderful if you knit it with different colours. Please make sure you use the same quality and the same length.
