I crocheted the thumbs quite tight, like Amigurumi. You can crochet more loosely, too. The thumb can be crocheted with any yarn weight.

All steps are explained in detail in words and pictures, so this pattern is suitable for beginners as well.

The thumbs got to be 12.5 x 12.5 cm & 9 x 9 cm tall (with 3.0 mm hook and DK yarn like Puppets Lyric 8/8 & 2.0 mm hook and sport weight yarn like Catania Originals).

You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn
