Crochet Pattern Mini-Gnome "Alfons"

When the sun goes down a little earlier the little gnomes are on their way. The run through the garden and through the house. They are really cute to look at.
Alfons is the perfect companion for the autumn and winter time.

To crochet Alfons you need the following:

• 10 g Catania Originals colour of choice for body and arms (50 g – 125 m)
• 12 g Catania Originals colour of choice for hat and feet (50 g – 125 m)
• 4 g Catania Originals skin colour for nose and hands (50 g – 125 m)
• Yarn odds of Catania Originals in colour of choice for hair and beard (50 g – 125 m)
• Some tinsel yarn
• Crochet hook in 2,5 mm and 3,00 mm (US B and D – UK 12 and 11)
• Sewing needle
• Stitch marker or string in contrast colour
• Scissor
• Toy stuffing
• Pin needles to secure the parts
• Deco for Alfons‘ hat
• For the glue version (no sewing): a hot glue gun or textile glue
• Pipe cleaner for the arms

Of course, you can use different yarn with fitting crochet hook. Alfons will then maybe bigger or smaller depending on the yarn and hook size.

With the mentioned yarn the gnome was for me approx. 15cm (6 inch) height – including hat.
The pattern includes 10 pages as PDF file. It has lots of pictures and explained step by step and is suitable for beginners.
Also a good solution to use you yarn odds.

Basic knowledge in single crochet, magic ring, increase and decrease should be there.
