Crochet Pattern Flower Stick "Frieda" Butterfly

The spring is close! And “Frieda” brings you in the right mood for this time of the year. But also in summer time she looks like a beauty in every flower pot.

To crochet “Frieda” you need:

• Odds of Catania Originals in your colour of choice – light and dark (50 g – 125 m)
• Odds of Catania Originals in skin colour (50 g – 125 m)
• Odds of Catania Originals in contrast colour (50 g – 125 m)
• 26 grams Catania Originals in white (50 g – 125 m)
• Crochet hook 2,50mm US B UK 12
• Embroidery needle
• Stitch marker or string in contrast colour
• half pearls 6 mm Ø
• some decoration band for the bow
• a little bit of pipe cleaner (optional)
• Scissor
• Toy stuffing
• Pin needles to secure the parts
• some embroidery yarn in black
• some rouge or eye shadow for the cheeks
• pearls for the stick – alternatively the end tail of the body
• Hot glue gun • wooden stick
•Nail polish or clear coat

Of course you can use any other yarn (weight) with the fitting hook – “Frieda” will get smaller or bigger depending on the yarn and hook.

This pattern is ideal to work with yarn odds or left overs.
