This is a pattern for a versatile bolero/shrug which can be worn for any occasion. Crocheted in 100% dk cotton. The bolero is made up of 25 crochet squares which are joined together as they are worked. A boarder of trellis,shells and picots completes the bolero.
The size of bolero is determined by the hook size used. Gauge is given to achieve correct sizing.
Sizes to fit bust: 30/32”, 34/36”, 38/40”, 42/44”

I bought the pattern, but I think the description is very difficult to understand. A drawing of the pattern or a close by photo of the pattern would help so much.

Great pattern

The result is very nice, but as I intend to wear it over evening dresses when cruising, thanks to the pandemic,I have not had chance to try it properly yet!

Great pattern

  The bolero is made by crocheting squares and joining them together as they are worked. This will allow the length of bolero to be adjusted.

I’m struggling with row 5. It says to place 4dc, ch2, 4dc in the 2 ch space. Is that correct? When I do that, it makes a 5th corner. Please let me know.

  The pattern should read into a ch10 sp and not a 2ch sp on round 5.
