MATERIALS AND TOOLS

  • Main yarn – I used approximately 50 g of grey “Khlopok Travka” by Kamteks (65% cotton, 35% polyamide) that has approximately 220 m in a 100 g skein).
Tip: You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the gauge section.
  • Additional yarn for the ears and tail – I used beige mohair yarn that has 175 m in a 50 g skein. See the gauge section to check if you chose the correct yarn weight.
  • Matching crochet hook. I used 3 mm crochet hook for the main yarn and 2 mm crochet hook for the additional yarn.
  • Strong black thread to needle sculpt the mouth.
  • Strong thread of matching colors for needle sculpting.
  • White thread to make the spot of light on the eyes.
  • A pair of ready-made eyes – I used 7 mm black beads.
  • Tapestry needle

  • Beige polymer clay and varnish to make the nose and paws.
  • Brush or Velcro to brush up the toy.
  • Scissors.

  • Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 40 cm / 15.7 inches long 1 mm in diameter.
